Does eBay charge fees on shipping and sales tax?
Yes. The percentage fee generally uses the item price, shipping charged to the buyer, and buyer sales tax. Buyer tax is included in the fee calculation but is not counted as your revenue. Enter it under “Other selling costs” if known.
Which sellers and items does this cover?
US eBay sellers using the standard fee schedules, with category presets and a custom percentage option. Use a provider quote appropriate for your parcel and contents, including any additional charges. International and seller-performance fee adjustments are not calculated automatically.
What should I put in the list price field?
Use your expected final selling price after any offer or discount. For multiple identical units, calculate one item at a time; the per-order fee here assumes one item in one order. Store subscriptions, insertion fees, optional upgrades, income tax, and returns are not automatically deducted. Add applicable amounts under other costs.
